I was born in Mississippi and partially raised there. When I was a teenager my father (who was a pastor) moved the family to Missouri where he had taken the job as the pastor of a little country church. I have 2 sisters and 4 brothers. I am number 6 in that line up.
In a wife, mother, and Nana. My husband and I took in a little 5 year old girl a couple of years ago. She is now 7 and we are hoping to adopt her real soon. She’s has already found her place in the family but we are hoping to make it official real soon. I have 4 dogs. My family is the most important thing in my life next to my relationship with Jesus Christ. I’ve worked in the medical field for 30 years. I have a heart for hospice patients. I’ve worked as a hospice aide for the past 6 years.
As a family we love outdoor activities. I love when the family is all together for an activity. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love to travel. I love quiet mornings with a cup of coffee and a devotional.
Life is very busy and ever changing. Through good times and bad, through laughter and tears, through sickness and uncertainties. Through disagreements and forgiveness. We are family. Not perfect by any means. But when there is love, Love never fails. So this blog is a way for me to release what is on my mind and hopefully encourage, bring a few smiles and maybe some laughter and maybe even a few tears.
